Hi cPanelLauren I appreciate the detailed steps you have given me. One more question. They don't seem to match what you have given in example.
His account was over quota. I just checked, it doesn't appear that he has logs for the missing month. Do you have the missing month in the directory you listed? Yes, I seem to. If not, I believe it is possible to get the data as long as you have the weblogs but I would suggest opening a ticket using the link in my signature to ensure that is the case. It doesn't appear that obvious that I can copy files from a backup server, run it on those files and export them to the awstats folder.
Hi ca The usage of runweblogs is just to run statistics for one user. It won't grab the data from another server if that's where it's stored.
Thanks, but I guess I was wondering what the syntax of the steps are. If so, can it be any directory? Last edited: Apr 19, Show hidden low quality content. You must log in or register to reply here. You can also run the statistics utility manually to calculate statistics for all domains or a particular domain. For details, see the section Calculating Statistics from Logs. Webalizer and AWstats are third-party utilities that represent statistical information from log files in the HTML format.
For instructions on how to set up automatic sending of resource usage reports, see the section Resource Usage Reports. In addition, you can recalculate statistic for previous months using the AWstats utility. For instructions on how to do this see the section Recalculating Statistics for Previous Months. Yes No. Thank you for the feedback! Please tell us if we can improve further.
I'm using Awstats on my websites. I have my log rotation set to NOT keep logs over 35 days but when I visit my Awstats for my site I can still see last months stats there. It must be keeping this information some where, right?
Does anyone know what controls this, how long does Awstats keep this info? I read the section there but the folders listed were just examples. None of them were on my system. No one knows how the data is kept or where it is? Of course this section does not tell you where AWStats keeps its database files.
